Ladders for Leaders

Ladders for Leaders is a nationally recognized program that offers high school and college students the opportunity to participate in paid professional summer internships with leading corporations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies in New York City.

Deadline: January 20th, 2025

The Summer Science Research Program

The Summer Science Research Program (SSRP) is a team-based mentored research program for high school juniors and seniors that takes place during the summer. It requires full-time attendance — approximately 35 hours per week during normal business hours, and applicants must be current high school juniors or seniors.

Deadline: January 3rd, 2025

The Biorocket Research Internship Program

The Biorocket Research Internship Program is a 6-month science research internship experience for New York City public and charter high school students age 16 and up. The program provides students with the opportunity to learn the latest advances in genetic engineering and biology laboratory skills, along with the science communication skills necessary to communicate about these topics with a variety of audiences. By participating in the program, students have access to scientific mentors, behind-the-scenes lab tours and field trips, and improv training for science communication skills.

Pathway Internship

Pathway is a Harvard Health Lab and Techstars-backed startup, as they scale rapidly to transform cancer survivorship care. They’re building innovative telehealth solutions to improve the lives of millions of cancer survivors—and they want college/high school interns to be part of it! Pathway is looking for remote interns in spring and summer for tech, admin/project management, grant writing, and content creation
